The Law of Self-Love
The law of self love is the most important law out of all 21 laws in my book, Love is the Law, because without loving yourself first, you cannot really love anybody else. People often think that loving yourself means to be narcissistic or egoistic, but that’s not true. Quite the opposite. If you love yourself, you are honoring your existence. If you love yourself, you are honoring the source where you came from. And if you love yourself in the most natural and genuine way, you are saying yes to yourself, to your greatness.

As the great quote by Louise Hay says, “I have found that there is only one thing that heals every problem and that is to love yourself. When people start to love themselves more each day, it’s amazing how their life gets better. They feel better. They get the jobs they want, they have the money they need. Their relationships either improve or the negative ones dissolve and the new ones begin. Loving yourself is a wonderful adventure. It’s like learning to fly.”

There is no way you can live fulfilled life without loving yourself first. Because other people just reflect the amount of love you have for yourself. If you love yourself, you are able to say No more often. So what does it even mean to love yourself?

What does it mean to love yourself?
Loving yourself means accepting who you are by setting healthy boundaries.

Loving yourself means to following your desires no matter what other people think.

Loving yourself means doing what feels right for you when the mind tells you otherwise.

Loving yourself means dreaming big and having the courage to act and follow those dreams.

Loving yourself means trusting and honoring life.

Loving yourself means eating good food, sleeping enough hours.

Loving yourself means following your passion and having the courage to forgive others and yourself.

Loving yourself means allowing abundance to come to your life. To love yourself is to become yourself.
Now, if you don’t know what to do and how to love yourself, I would ask a simple question:

What would I do if I actually loved myself?
And then wait, what comes next? And then just do that. Follow this advice every single day and sooner or later you’re going to finally love yourself more and more.
