The Law of Flow
To go with the flow is to trust the universe. “Act always as if the future of the universe depends on what you did while laughing at yourself for thinking that whatever you do makes any difference.” – Buddhist Advice

Many times when you identify yourself with your emotions, you can’t see the truth. Oftentimes we plan everything. We schedule everything. We live in a comfort zone. We are actually afraid to step outside of this conference zone, this bubble that we created and let life show us the way. But, scheduling everything, planning, everything, is taking the magic away. So if you want to experience magic of life, you need to trust the flow of your life. Trust that the flow will take you where you need to go. Observe your emotions and your sensations whenever you feel fear passing like clouds in the sky because the moment you identify what’s holding you back is the moment you release the blocks. When you follow your heart, you automatically experience joy. The law of flow will always lead you to your heart.

Remember, every time you feel unyielding desire, it’s a sign to change the direction of your focus towards that particular desire. Sometimes the desire can be hidden in your fear. When I first decided to scuba dive, I was terrified, but my diving experience was my desire hidden in the fear. The flow of life will take care of you as long as you let go the control and you just trust.

When you feel stuck, for example, in your job, it might be because you are moving to the next level in your journey and the flow of life is, in fact, calling you. Maybe your current job might have felt good six months ago, but now it doesn’t. Surrender to it. Go on vacation. Empty your mind. What you resist, persists. Remember that. The resistance only shows that something isn’t quite the way it should be. Once you clear your mind, you will be able to follow the flow of life and things will align in your life accordingly.

“Remember, planning is helpful. If you don’t know what you want, you’ll seldom get it, but no matter how well you plan, you will fare better if you expect the unexpected. The unexpected, by nature, comes unseen, unthought, un-envisioned. All you can do is to plan to go unplanned. Prepare to be unprepared, making going with the flow part of your agenda. For the most successful among us envision, plan, prepare, but cast all aside as needed while those who are unable to go with the flow often suffer if they survive.” David W. Jones.
